WHEN WILL THE VP FILE A LAWSUIT ON THE HOSPITAL BEDS HE SNATCHED FROM MPONELA DISTRICT HOSPITAL?

Esteemed Observers, If you may recall sometime in September 2012.When the Vice President Khumbo Kachali went to Mponela District Hospital and snatched 25 beds in the children ward in the midst of the night, a lot was also said and the backing by the Peoples Party side existed but long at last, truth was told that the VP really snatched the beds from Mponela District Hospital to his home District Hospital Mzimba. It was so embarrassing that the whole vice president can think and act such low and shamelessly. Worse still, there were patients who were victimized in the process and forced to sleep on the floor though they were critically ill. Just to remind our Khumbo Kachali, When will the VP file a lawsuit for defamatory charges on these 25 beds he snatched as they were also propaganda and fabrication aimed at tarnishing his political future?

Fellow observers,if these leaders of ours pretend to be just then they must be deceiving themselves as Malawians are now more informed and advanced than they used to  be a decade ago. They are at times when our leaders forget who their bosses are as they behave like savages to Millions of us, the integrity  of Malawians become an insult such that a leader stands on a podium to tell Malawians that they cant stop  travelling much as  “iwowo samakayenda Pakhomo pamathu”. Where on earth apart from Malawi can a Vice President speak like that? For sure that statement only shows how disrespectful our leaders can be to Malawians.

As a matter of fact, from the time of Justice Malewezi, Cassim Chilumpha, Joyce Banda and Khumbo Kachali. For sure the current vice president –Khumbo Kachali is the worst Veep Malawi has and will never have. The way our VP behaves sometimes demeans the integrity of the Office of President and Cabinet. Holding that highest office is not only being the second in command and exercising constitutional powers  but the ability to be a critical thinker, a strategist and someone of sound judgment  who is able to speaks after having a well thought analysis  than think after you have already spoken the rough way.

Just recently, GALAXY FM a local radio station in Malawi on 20th October, 2013 aired a program which has received mixed reactions and turned controversial. As an observer having listened to the program, it was a sort of an investigative program which was exposing several companies and individuals who are believed to have pocketed Billions of Kwacha without providing any service to the government or having any contract in the CASH GATE SCANDAL. The presenters of the program alleged that with  information in their possession, some senior government official were  implicated and involved in the process directly or indirectly.

Despite that the investigations of the CASH GATE SCANDAL are still underway, many Malawians have believed the revelations based on how some Peoples Party officials have accumulated wealth and are splashing cash in their constituencies, drinking joints and the assets they have acquired within a period of 18 months.

Reacting to the GALAXY FM program, the Vice President and some people mentioned in the program have filed a lawsuit against GALAXY FM demanding Billions of Kwacha for defamation and damages but my observation remains,”what will these people do if the authenticity of the documents proves  true and  thoroughly  analysis, investigation and forensic  auditing ends implicating these people directly or indirectly?”That has been too fast for the VP. That’s just my observation let Malawians be the good judges.
