MALAWI' 14 MONTHS OF LIES,DREAMA AND SOCIALS WITH PEOPLES PARTY GOVERNMENT

MALAWI’ 14 MONTHS OF LIES, DREAMS AND SOCIALS WITH PEOPLES PARTY GOVERNMENT.

It’s almost 14 months now in view of the fact that the Peoples Party became a ruling rank with the downfall of our Late Ngwazi Professor Bingu WA Muthalika in April 2012.As a matter of actuality, a lot has been assumed and a lot is to be said. Promises have been made and dreams have been dreamt on the contrary nonentity realistic on the grounds seems to become visible. Though most of the royalists to the ruling Peoples Party in their  point of view feel that being told the truth is offensive to them or simply being a critic to amai’ government of the day, from my point of view I remain an Observer  and non political Magede Si Wandale scrutinizing closely how Malawians are being lied to in the same place acknowledging  that one president exists at a time, I am not here to show aggression or humiliate  you rather proclaim the truth and hold our government accountable in order  to  help the leaders of today  solve some of the deceit and dreams  that are setting a bad picture of our government and making Malawians to loose trust in it.

Presently in 14 months, Malawians have been made to live and accept as truth a life full of deceit and falsehood. If we replicate on the recognition speech we once heard sometime in April 2012, on assumptions, Malawi seems to have 2 different presidents steering the country in which one president is good at dreaming and promising stuff that shall not come to pass and on the other hand the other presidents is there to make this other dreaming presidents a failure. By this time if we reflect on the promises that had been made sometime in April 2012, rural Malawians in tomato, nkhwani<pumpkin leaves>, and mbatatesi <Irish potato>business could have been millionaires by today with the exporting of such products to countries such as Ethiopia, India, China and not forgetting Korea, if we are to judge our government and hold it accountable where are we today? Lies and Lies running a country by lies.

It’s not long ago that we the populace of Malawi  particularly the youths to put out of mind  speedily the labor exportation deals to countries such as South Korea, Kuwait and China just to mention a few from the long line. I believe by now the youths of Malawi could have turned into millionaires and brought a lot of forex into the country not only that but also improved living standard of their families with such a dream that could see our youths being remunerated over MK 450,000 a month. Hardly I want to judge anybody or the ruling Peoples Party but if we all reflect on the events that have surrounded and made headlines recently on the media fraternity regarding such a fading dream where we are today? Lies and dreams running a country by lies.

In addition to that, we all saw the launch of the one cow per family initiative that had been aimed at targeting about one Million families by next year, practically on the ground, how many families have been reached by today? If we thoroughly scrutinize and have a reasonable foresight on that project, the  project isn’t feasible but a mere catalogues of political lies and  dream , the probability of having that target being reached by 2014 are minimal and as of now the project beneficiaries are almost royals to the ruling class. Project risks such as some of the cows kicking the bucket have already been experienced and sustainability of such a project hardly is a reality, the M and E Matrix are now where to be seen. With only 10 months remaining to the project duration where are we today with our target populace? Lies and lies running the country by dreams.

Esteemed Malawians, in just 14 months we have seen tours and tours ranging from one destiny to the other, our leaders have been addicted to travelling and it has now turned to be a hobby and partying time for our leaders with the government coffers, of what significance have such global trotting and honey mooning brought to the rest of Malawians? Absolutely nothing at all apart from being lied to on press briefing statements. What change have the within country non stop tours brought to the Malawians apart from our leaders pocketing and getting a huge sum of allowance? Honestly you will need to find answers for yourself.

Though the lies and the list can be endless, let me rest with the lies and the dreams on the fallacies of Economic Recovery, to be frank my fellow Malawians, our Economy has not recovered and even our leaders are aware of that but for the sake of political appeasement, our leaders have made us believe that our economies are on track, it was just the harvesting season as usual with the tobacco sales and the availability of maize that resulted in the appreciation of our currency, move around the country to the remotest part of Malawi and see how people are lavishing in extreme poverty, the issue of recovery should not alone be appreciated by  those that are in favor of the government of today rather the rest of Malawians especially those under privileged should also be able to have a testimony, in most parts of the country the prices of goods and services are  so exorbitant having  no sense  of  an economy at ease.

To conclude, it could have been much better for our leaders and the peoples Party to realize the huge task they have to serve over 14 millions lives of Malawians and be serious with the running of the government instead of concentrating on petty issues like face book posts on podiums which are simply showing lack of seriousness and the immature nature of leaders we have. Matters of national significant and interest needs to be treated with sober mind and integrity instead of running the country as a mere social gathering where people could gather and drink binge and get intoxicated with their own actions.  Running a country is not all about political ambitions and lying but being accountable and responsible enough to the people we serve-BY: Magede Si Wandale

MULI'S 2 BILLION COMPENSATION INTOXICATES PEOPLES PARTY LOYALISTS

MULI’S 2 BILLION COMPENSATION INTOXICATES PEOPLES PARTY LOYALISTS.
POSTED ON 12 /6/2013.

It’s very mesmerizing at present time following Malawi’ politics with keen interest particularly how things are stirring in the country’ political panorama, despite the fact that I am not familiar with politics except being “Magede Si Wandale the observer”. Waking up every day are bunch of laughers aside than substantial stuff as the Peoples Party is becoming more tragedy and a shaggy dog story to the political cycle within and outside the country with time continuing to short while with their 2014 tripartite general election bid <Koma mulimba?>. Nevertheless, let’s get back to business for the day.

As a matter of actuality, the mass of aged disintegrating and cast-off politicians making up the falling Peoples Party family of “Pi Pi yanyamuka “ <PP on the way>illustrious caliber are for eternity making up embarrassing headlines on the media fraternity, no doubt they would not adore to comprehend newspapers. It’s very regrettable that the Peoples Party propagandist are only centered at pining and seeing their strong opponents especially prominent politicians cum business mogul going down than do well, being a detractor or having diverse political outlook doesn’t warranty somebody to be a casualty to the ruling category or starved of justice. There goes a fairy-tale of Leston Muli of Muli Brothers.

Just recently, it was the judiciary structure that red carded the government and ruled in favor of Leston Muli’ to be compensated with a cool 2 Billion Kwacha <kutakata kulipo apa> for the reparation his company suffered some years back during the 20th July demonstration in 2011. Frankly speaking, this is a straight forward issue but I am not at your best to value how the People’s Party loyalists are trying to twist and politicize the matter with the death of 20 people that occurred during the same demonstration. The judgment made by the court has surely caused some madness to the Peoples Party regarding how some of its supporters and social commentators have reacted to it parting the other side of the story untold.

At hand is an enormous necessitate to civic educate Peoples Party to make a distinction between Muli’ business and the death of the 20 July demonstrators, we all feel bad about that as we lost the true sons and daughters of the country in fight for better Malawi but that doesn’t mean Muli being a close aide to late Bingu Wa Muthalika must be denied justice and be vindicated for that matter, the 20 July demonstrations was something to do with the DPP regime and how things stood by then and not something to deal with Muli’ personal business, there is need for change of our mindset and not complicate and politicize the matter further .Muli deserves the 2 Billion Kwacha compensation and even more than that as his company suffered as anybody else could wish the same if his or her company experienced similar setting in disregard of where he/she comes from, what political ideologies one has or being in the opposing side of the government. It’s not all about being in Peoples Party to have the governments favor but the process of seeking justice should be entitled to every citizen of the land.

Long live genuine democracy.

THE PRESIDENT AND THE ENTIRE PEOPLES PARTY HAVE LOST DIRECTION.

By:Magede Si Wandale
POSTED ON:  11 JUNE 2013.

Esteemed Malawians, at hand are issues of national worth requiring our contemplation, amalgamation and to be well thought off sooner than things dig up wholly in disregard of our political difference but for the betterment of our treasured Malawi nation as an entity single handily. Our  state president and the entire Peoples Party regime appear to have lost control absolutely and the vast collision of such gone astray control is being impacted on the entire nation and imposing a huge threat to the citizens of  the “warm heart of Africa”. Matters of national substance are being disregarded and some of them drawn to pursue political ambitions  for  the ruling Peoples Party  more willingly than  being centered on improving the lives of poor  Malawians  in return tarnishing the integrity of Malawi at the global village echelon.

My insightful as an observer, Malawi as a nation with Peoples Party lost of control   on the steering with the prominence of “Pi Pi yanyamuka “<Peoples Party on the way> seem to be predestined for demolition putting into consideration how the Peoples Party government with the celebrated “amai chiongolero “<a woman on the steering wheel> have at a point handled the following crucial matters babyishly:

1.       POLITICAL LY AMBITIOUS LABOUR EXPORTATION.
Honored Malawians, having a meticulously psychotherapy and looking on how the President and the Peoples Party partisan freshly had been making the audacity of labor exportation deals they claimed to have smack with South Korea and how they shielded the issue when eye-openers were made that our country had no prescribed conformity with our South Korean complement and supplementary tried to secure the matter simply shows how impractical our government is being and run out of it’s senses. The issue of labor exportation seems to be a bunch of political wishes for the ruling party and a tease to the seeking work Malawian youths somewhat a reality for the people’s party making them completely lost of control. It’s very fascinating that despite the shoulder we have received from South Korea the government wanted to have a lease from Kuwait which has even turned down the proposal as well leaving the ruling party so embarrassed and desperate. This and that’s a clear indication that the president and the party are not really sure of what they are saying and doing at the expense of tax payers money than being out of political and legitimacy control.

2.       A LOT OF UNCONTROLLED UNNECESARY  INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TRIPS
Additionally to the politically motivated labor exportation ambitions, at the moment our presidents is elsewhere of the country ever since May wandering from one country to another   despite her country experiencing economic harms, when the president left the country it was clearly to every Malawian that the state president was destined for Ethiopia for  AU -50 years celebration and from there we have heard of number of whereabouts global trotting from one destiny to the other wasting more of the countries resources. The travels from Malawi to Ethiopia, UAE, Japan, China and now she is in another country some how sounds inconsistent and impractical of someone who has missed her route and now only being driven by political lust than serving her own people. How much of the countries wealth is being vanished with such trips which turnout to be fruitless at last.

3.       LAKE MALAWI WRANGLES WITH TANZANIA
Valued Malawians, let me rest with this matter, the Lake wrangle between Malawi and Tanzania, from the past familiarity, this is not the origin of the matter but a prolongation  time for the 2 bordering nations  to tussle over the Lake, beforehand, the matter was handled with great scruples and veracity than the case is now. Our counterpart is active making advancements to claim part of the Lake when our dear president seems not anxious on this Lake Malawi which ranks within the best 10 Lakes out of the Africa continent .The way this matter is being handled by the peoples party led government is far more different than it was once tackled.

It’s high time our presidents and the Peoples party should realize the huge task they have to swirl the operation of the country than live by political ambitions than reality. Some senses must be enthused to our leaders and the peoples Party else our country is in danger as its followers are continuing to be out of control.

ECONOMIC RECOVERY AGAINST THE REAL SITUATION IN MALAWI.

By: Magede Si Wandale.

Honorable ladies and gentlemen, first and foremost permit me to congratulate on one occasion our dear Presidents Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda, the capital hill staff working on ERP and the Orange intellectuals from Nsanje to Chitipa for vigorously making the noise along with the enunciation that the economy of our country Malawi that was once tattered and in shambles just some few months ago has recovered. Undeniably that’s a great situation to the party loyalists and bootlickers that I can’t go by without appreciating though not really impactful to the rest of Malawians.

Honorable folks, allow me on the contrary of economic recovery to pilot you into the genuine circumstances Malawians are going through with the so called economic recovery in evolution.

To begin with, it’s not long ago the fuel pricing at the international marketplace dropped than we heard our government through MERA  forcing those in petroleum industry to diminish the prices of the fuel on pump  as the Automatic Fuel Pricing <in line with ERP> had to take effect parting the fuel  business society ending  up  in losses since the fuel they were told to lessen the pricing was bought at a higher price than it was lately sold to formulate every Malawian believe that ERP was really on course. It’s pathetic that when our leaders some where are busy preaching the gospel of economic recovery someone out there in the business community is being vindicated some where the same way as the things were with the Zero deficit budget.

In addition to that, we have heard freshly the Peoples Party on Podiums calling upon John Kapito of CAMA to match so that retail and wholesale shop owners should reduce the pricing of goods and services as the government on the underground is going by busy negotiating and convincing companies to lower the prices of goods and services and on the contrary the ESCOM and water board and other statutory corporations such as the Malawi Housing corporation charges and tariffs are not going down than going up. How do we believe of economic recovery only from the private sectors when the government’s efforts to lower its services pricing remain in indeterminate state.

Furthermore, it’s very interesting with the recovered economy in progress to hear that the 2013 to 2014 budget has trimmed the allocation of Early Child Development with over 40 Million kwacha compared to the previous year allocation which is the blow to the upbringing of the little promising Malawian leaders and such behaviors  with this Peoples Party government have by now resulted in trouncing of lives to some people as the case has been in Nkhatabay  where the fuel allocation for ambulance was reduced from 200 to 40 litres putting peoples lives at risk.

The issue of civil servants outcry on their unpaid allowances or salaries remains the slogan for the day now despite the recovery of our economics, civil servants are continuing to suffer and facing the hardships of economics in recovery  and each and passing day we hear stories of civil servants  complaining of their unpaid dues backdating to April 2012 and for no reasons the tendency seems to have grown  roots and now its about time the workers in the ministry of health are about to jeopardize the children’s week of vaccination because of their unpaid dues backing dating to the previous year risking further the lives of the next generation of Malawi.

Honestly it’s high time we must stop playing with peoples lives by politicking and start reflecting on the real situation Malawians are facing .When some one is busy preaching of economic recovery people are continuing to be vindicated and suffering, the prices of sugar remains the same as of the present while eggs price in local shop are continuing to rise.

CORRUPTION SIGNS A TWO YEARS CONTRACT WITH PEOPLES PARTY IN MALAWI.

BY: Magede Si Wandale

As the Peoples Party continues to loss popularity and failing in Malawi, Corruption seems to be on track and making progress with the Peoples Party   contract they signed on 7th April 2012. The Peoples Party   has been assigned a task to offer Corruption services in the Public Sector of the Republic of Malawi reference number STATEFUNERAL/2012/APRIL/BWM for duration of 2 years and is yet to be terminated automatically come MAY 2014.

Since the Peoples Party ascended to the highest Office in the Republic of Malawi, there has been rampant corruption and abuse of public resources by public servants worrying every responsible Malawian and imposing a big threat to the Tax payer’s money not only that but also the international community with the latest being:

THE RISE AND FALL OF PEOPLES PARTY IN MALAWI.

By:Magede Si Wandale

“Mphanvu”, “Mphanvu”, in a perfect harmony they spoke and that became the order of the day for Peoples Party with the favorite bootlicker’s slogan “Amai Chiongolero”, trying to make every Malawian believe that the Peoples Party was GOD’s sent  and so angelic to save the Mother Malawi and make it a better place for all.

It all begun with the sudden death of our second Ngwazi late Professor Bingu wa Munthalika <may his soul Rest in Peace>.The fateful death saw the EXIT the DPP and ENETR the PP into the highest office, not only that but also the fastest exodus of members of Parliament from the DPP to the ruling Peoples Party as the tune is always to serve the government of the day by some greedy and egocentric leaders who left their master Bingu even before his burial. The Peoples Party came into the highest office limelight as a surprise and for sure the Party did not even know from where to start from apart from accusing the former regime of Democratic Progress Party for misusing the financial resources of our country and chasing all the potential donors and partners who helped our country in various aspects of life.

With just a year in power now the Peoples Party with “Amai Chiongolero” seems to have lost control and the party vehicle seems to be destined for destruction. The fall of Peoples Party is just around the corner and believe it or not but with Party is failing down like Babylon. How can Peoples Party boost of its popularity when the following remains in our minds:
  1. The dyeing of cows given in the one cow per family which is aimed to target million Families by next years seems to be contributing to the downfall of Peoples Party and making it even more unpopular in the villages and across the country.
  2. The NFRA rotting of over 30,000 metric tones of   maize on paper when the Malawians were dying for it and governments in effort to tell Malawians the truth on the matter remains another factor sinking the party.
  3. The hardened lifestyle by many Malawians with the devaluation of  the kwacha making the cost of living  for a poor rural Malawian becoming very high and unbearable cant be left aside as sinking the PP ship
  4. The failure of the government to implements successfully  the 2012-2013 FISP with incidents of sand  distribution and failure by many Malawians to buy fertilizer  has also resulted in the party downfall
  5. Rampant Corruption of top government officials and up to date the Peoples Party government has done nothing with how its public servants are misusing and abusing our tax money meant for every Malawian.
  6. The selling of the presidential jet with a loss of about 8 million US dollars when our countries economy was on track.
  7. The continued death of maternal mothers in rural areas despite the Peoples Party championing the safe motherhood and due to lack of fuels in heath centers due to under funding when the PP government is busy buying ministers cars.
  8. The South Korea labour exportation deal which seems to be more of a catalogue of wishful thinking than a reality tarnishing the image of our country on the international scene and a blow to the youths of Malawi who sacrifices their everything hoping of having lease of live in South Korea.
  9. The continued Social insecurity where Journalists can be beaten up by Security officers in Public places like the Parliament and other incidents such as the genital mutilation of dead bodies in public hospitals by heath workers. Party officials and loyalists vandalizing the opposition flags and property when they enjoy  the incumbency

Rest we forget come 2014 that ever existed a briefcase Party in the name of Peoples Party, the Fall of Peoples Party will equal to that of great Babylon. EXIT  PP 2014.
